Columbia Transfer Station 428-1482
The Transfer Station is available to Columbia residents for non-commercial trash disposal and recycling. Vehicle identification stickers are required, and are available in the Town Clerk’s Office, and are required for all vehicles entering the Transfer Station. The Transfer Station hours of operation are:
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Household chemical waste must be brought to: MidNEROC Chemical Waste Drop-Off Facility Hancock Road Willington, CT 684-3163
Brochures with specific information are available at the Transfer Station and in the Town Clerk’s office. The facility is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first and third Saturday of each month beginning late April through to early November.
