There are a variety of Town boards, commissions and committees in Columbia. Under this section of the website, you will find information about each of them, such as purpose, current membership, contact information and agendas/minutes. Some of the boards and commissions are made up of elected officials. However, most boards and commissions are appointed by the Board of Selectmen. If you are interested in serving on a volunteer board of commission, please email First Selectman Steven M. Everett at severett@columbiact.org or the Town Administrator, Mark Walter at townadministrator@columbiact.org.
Please note that boards and commissions relating to the Columbia School System are separate and distinct from the boards and commissions connected to the Columbia Municipal Government.
